Winnie Ng Yu Xuan, representing MS Negeri Sembilan, has added another win to her string of victories with the THREE-PEAT in the just concluded 2019 MSSM Golf Championship at the Labuan International Golf Club recently.
Winnie who recently won the 11thTSM Golf Challenge won the girls overall champion title by one stroke beating Charlayne Chong from Sabah and Ashley Chin from Penang. Winnie was leading by four strokes in the Under-18 Girls category, when disaster struck and her ball found five water hazards from the 8thto 11thholes, losing seven strokes in a row. However she redeemed herself with an eagle at the par 5, 14thwhich set the course for a one-stroke victory with the crucial 8-foot downhill putt at the final green.

Winnie who is scheduled to sit for her IGCSE examination from early May to mid June 2019 has to forgo several international events including the just concluded ANA Junior Inspiration at Mission Hills in California, US, the 2nd Women Amateur Asia Pacific in Japan in end April and the sponsor-invites from EFG Hong Kong Ladies Open 2019 in early May.
