MercedesTrophy Returns to Bring Passion for Perfection
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia announced the return of the highly-acclaimed MercedesTrophy. With over 30 years of experience, the MercedesTrophy has evolved into an extremely successful tournament series for amateurs staged in over 60 countries.

They both share a similar spirit in striving to get the perfect drive and this is what our customers love the most. This strong connection has led to the active involvement of our brand in this sport since 1989, and the MercedesTrophy since 1991. The game always brings us back together for more and is capable of turning anyone into a fan of both the sport and our brand,” says Dr. Claus Weidner, President & CEO of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia.
The MercedesTrophy is an exclusive international invitation tournament series for Mercedes-Benz Malaysia customers who are golf enthusiasts. Over 60,000 golfers in more than 60 countries tee off at this exclusive golf tournament every year. It was introduced in 1991 and has now established itself an event taking place annually on every continent. To date, over a million Mercedes-Benz customers and fans have teed off at the MercedesTrophy.
This year’s competition will be played again in five qualifying rounds with its first qualifying round at the Palm Garden Golf Club, Putrajaya, on the 25 May 2021. The top five winners of each round will then meet for the National Final which will be held at the Saujana Golf & Country Club, Selangor on 15 July 2021.
The finalists will also be invited to attend the brand’s very first Mercedes-Benz Demo Clinic Day. Equipped with state-of-the-art computerized launch monitor systems including GC Quad and support of the international Professional Fitters / Golf Professional, participants will receive the most accurate analysis of their swing profile and club assessment.
