Thai’s Jairak Wins Inaugural ‘Era Sport’ Hainan Junior Golf Tour Malaysian Leg
Saksit Jairak from Thailand scored a gross total of 207 to secure a slot at the China Tour 2019, which will be held at Songbai Golf Club, Ahui, China on 19 – 25 August 2019 (Huangshan Station) or at Taohuayuan Golf Club, Hunan, China on 2 – 8 September 2019 (Hunan Station).
The Boys Under-23 category champion at the inaugural ‘Era Sport’ Hainan Junior Golf Tour 2019 (Malaysia Leg) jointly organized with SportExcel Malaysia was a clear winner with the only challenge coming from Azren Azam from Malaysia who scored 219 gross.
A total of 120 players from China, Thailand, Koreans and Malaysian players participated in the three-day tournament that was played at the Glenmarie Golf & Country Club from 24-26 July 2019.
The other juniors who also won a place to participate at the Hainan Junior Golf Classic in December 2019 included the Boys Under-19 Champion, Muhammad Ikhmal Bin Basry (Malaysia), who scored 213, Foong Zi Yu (Malaysia), the Girls Under-19 Champion, who scored 229, Muhammad Adif Haikal Bin Md Hazan (Malaysia), the Boys Under-13 Champion, who scored 184, Ng Jing Xuen (Malaysia), the Girls Under-13 Champion, who scored 185, Kitpat Hamilton (Thailand) the Boys Under-10 Champion who scored 98 and Mehekpreet Kaur Randhawa (Malaysia), the Girls Under-10 Champion, who scored 116. The winners will be provided free entry and accommodation.
