Prudential Astro Masters 2018 Returns
The 21 st edition of the Prudential Astro Masters (PAM) 2018 has returned will tee off at the Tropicana Golf & Country Club on August 1. Unlike the previous years, this year’s edition will see only a total of 10 qualifying rounds, which will be played across 5 states in some of the top golf courses in the country.
PAM 2018, which will be played on strokeplay format, is one of the longest running national amateur golf series in Malaysia and this year’s edition will once again witness amateur golfers vying to win prizes worth over RM300,000 as well as for a spot in the Grand Finals which will be held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
According to P. Jeganathan, Organising Chairman of PAM 2018, PAM 2018 is one of the most popular golf series in Malaysia and most awaited event by amateur golfers every years.
“PAM 2018 promises an even greater golfing experience for participants, including qualifying rounds at the top 5 courses in Malaysia, Grand Final in Cambodia and a hole-in-one prize of a Golf Tour Package for 2 persons in Scotland, plus many other attractive prizes,” said Jega during the press conference at Tropicana Golf & Country Club.
The best gross and nett champion will be selected to play at the Grand Finals, which will be played at two golf courses namely the Grand Phnom Golf Club and the Garden City Golf Club.
The highlight of the golf series is the hole-in-one prize which is a Golf Tour Package for 2 persons including air ticket, accommodation and a round of Golf at St Andrews, Scotland worth over RM30,000, and a Sure-To-Win, hole-in-one prize of a 65-inch Panasonic LED full HD TV.
