Final Junior Order of Merit Announced First Ever All-Asia Team Named

The All-Asia Team
The inaugural Junior Golf Tour of Asia (JGTA) season has wrapped up and the Junior Order of Merit and All-Asia Team Honors have been announced. Camille Boyd (2020) of (USA) Shanghai, China and Junyi Tang (2021) of Beijing, China are the first Junior Order of Merit Champions.
The JGTA All-Asia Teams are composed of the top performers on the Junior Order of Merit. All- Asia honours are given to the top five boys and top five girls in the Junior Order of Merit, which also earns them Fully Exempt Status in the American Junior Golf Association. The players named to the All-Asia Team are considered to be among the top-ranked junior golfers in Asia.
Boys – All-Asia Team Junyi Tang (2021), Beijing, China Jiakun Li (2019), Shanghai, China Conor Kelly (2019), Bangkok, Thailand Bhitchayoot Sima-Aree (2019), Nonthaburi, Thailand Xuan Luo (2021), Guangzhou, China
Girls – All-Asia Team Camille Boyd (2020), (USA) Shanghai, China Natachanok Tunwannarux (2023), Bangkok, Thailand Jana Ni (2021), Beijing, China Selina Li (2019), Hong Kong, Hong Kong Annie Sun (2019), Beijing, China
All players listed above are top recruits for college golf in America. These players will be competing amongst the best in the world in AJGA tournaments this summer such as the Junior All-Star Invitational, as well tournaments outside the AJGA like the U.S. Girl’s Junior, the U.S. Junior AM, and IMG Junior Worlds. Tang, a class of 2021 grad is expected to be the number 1 ranked player in multiple tournament fields and is set to compete in the KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational, one the most exclusive events that the AJGA has to offer.
Boyd is expected to compete in the Scott Stallings Junior Championship presented by Pilot Flying J. She will be one of 7 players in the field with fully exempt AJGA status. Tunwannarux, one of the best players in the world for the class of 2023, is sure to shock the AJGA circuit as she competes against other top recruits.
The JGTA’s 2018-2019 season will run from September until May and will see a large increase in events across Asia. Competition will be fierce as players will have more opportunities to hone
