Maruman SG Offers Speed, Smash and Stability in its Latest Range

In the Maruman SG line-up, Maruman has developed the driver, fairways, and hybrids with a Triple S design in mind which represents Speed, Smash and Stability.

 

Speed

In order to achieve more speed and distance, Maruman has made improvements in the head aerodynamics with the use of “Rectifying Fins” on the rear of the head to minimize head deceleration caused by air resistance. In addition to that, the proprietary Maruman SG M220 Shafts used throughout the line-up is made of highly elastic and high strength materials to help achieve more head acceleration.

 

Smash

To ensure distance on shots across the face are maximized, Maruman has taken inspiration from a spider web’s thin, yet rigid structure and implemented it to the face of its drivers, fairways and hybrids. This technology maximizes the repulsion effect across the face which results in higher ball speeds.

 

Stability

A honeycomb crown is used to lower the Centre of Gravity as well as increase the MOI in order to help shots launch easier with maximum forgiveness.

 

The irons in the new Maruman SG family is a fusion of hollow and pocket cavity irons as Maruman combined the advantages of hollow iron technology with the beauty of a muscle back iron. The technology has allowed Maruman to use an ultra-thin Maraging face which allows the face to flex and achieve the maximum ball speeds off the face.
