Kota Permai Golf & Country Club (KPGCC) and Horizon Hills Golf & Country Club (HHGCC) emerged big winners at the 2020 ParGolf People’s Choice Awards.

Held entirely virtually this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the fifth edition of the annual awards continued its tradition of an online poll which ran from December 9, 2019 to February 25, 2020 with 12 categories up for grabs and winners comprising the top three clubs in each category. Since a physical awards ceremony was not possible, the winners were presented with digital certificates and online badges to recognise their achievements.

“We’re thrilled with the awards that we have received for both clubs and would like to thank everyone who voted for us. Seven awards for KPGCC and four awards for HHGCC is a huge feat. It’s a well-deserved recognition for both teams who are constantly working hard to uphold the high standards that are synonym with our brands,” said Tang Meng Loon, Director of Club, Township & Property Management.

“The ParGolf People’s Choice Awards is certainly a great barometer for public opinion of golf clubs in Malaysia, as it is based solely on online voting. Our heartiest congratulations go out to all the award winners as they truly represent the cream of Malaysian golf and are constantly committed to the quest for excellence across all spheres of their operations,” said ParGolf publisher Suzannah Gun Palmer.
